Maysa Jarara, a math teacher at Park Slope Collegiate in Brooklyn, reportedly posted a grotesque caricature depicting Lionel Messi with an exaggerated nose, wearing a kippah and rubbing his hands together. The image closely resembles the notorious “Happy Merchant” meme, a classic antisemitic depiction of Jews as greedy and scheming. Jarara also reportedly shared an image of an Israeli flag covered in blood and celebratory content on the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. A public school teacher entrusted with educating children should never be normalizing antisemitic propaganda. Jarara has not responded, and the NYC Department of Education has yet to publicly address the report.

NYSC Member D+es After Being Cr¥shed By Trailer In Ibadan Days After Resuming At Her Place Of Primary Assignment The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, has expressed sorrow over the d+ath of serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Oluwatosin Abidakun, who was k+lled in a road cr@sh involving an articulated truck in Ibadan on Monday. According to reports , Abidakun had recently resumed her primary assignment at the Assembly and was returning home on a motorcycle with another corps member when the truck r@mmed into them around Agodi Gardens, in Ibadan North Local Government Area. While Abidakun d+ed on the spot, the other corps member sustained inj¥ries and is receiving treatment at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. In a statement on Tuesday, Ogundoyin described the incident as “a painful and devastating loss,” saying the young corps member’s d+ath was heartbreaking because she had only just begun her national service with hopes and aspirations for the future. He extended his condolences to her family, friends and colleagues, while praying for the surviving corps member’s speedy recovery. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses revealed that the truck driver had allegedly hit several vehicles around Sango before proceeding towards Agodi Gardens, where the f@tal cr@sh occurred. One eyewitness alleged that the driver was attempting to escape after the earlier collisions, prompting drivers whose vehicles were hit to pursue him. The Oyo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Kehinde Dahunsi, confirmed the incident, saying the female corps member d+ed while the injured motorcycle rider was evacuated to the University College Hospital for treatment.
