Hundreds of employees reportedly went to work as usual, unaware that they might return home without jobs. US-based Innodata allegedly laid off nearly 550 Indian workers, with some claiming their system access was suddenly blocked without prior notice. Losing a job is already difficult, but the way employees are treated matters too. Do you think companies should give advance notice before layoffs?

$I foolishly left comments open on my recent Facebook post about having Covid and feeling crap. Bear in mind all I did was suggest folk mask up when possible. The mindless, ignorant hatred that exists out there is terrifying. These people (or at least those that aren't bots) walk among us, and they feel secure enough to openly insult people for literally no reason, call them names, use slurs and all sorts. It's bloody awful. I know it's likely people have always been like this but still, what the hell has happened to us? It feels like society has fractured badly in the last ten years, even worse than things were before.$

Winner Bonheiden 🥇
