The ride was stopped, and riders were evacuated. Cobb County Police and state safety inspectors are investigating what happened.

I rode Goliath once the first year it opened and never again. I made sure the bar clicked twice and still felt like I was coming out of the seat. Prayers to the deceased and his family, especially his son who witnessed the accident.

See this is why I never go on roller coasters or ski lifts. It will never be me on online climbing down Goliath after watching someone got mollywhopped by metal beams and fall to their death.

So for the people who don’t know the train in this photo is the second car that was dispatched after the man fell from the train that was already in motion it was emergency stopped and is in that position the man fell from the train car that was already out and about to pull back in station . If you look on twitter the man fell out as the ride was snapping the picture of the last turn for souvenir photos that rides usually do! I MEAN NO OFFENSE WHEN I SAY THIS - that man was wayyyyyy tooo big to be on that ride . Back in the day when I went to six flags my fries was too big at the time and couldn’t ride and he was no where near that guys size respectfully . He should have never been allowed to ride that ride

Sad, praying for the family of the person that passed & ppl who were hurt as well. That’s why I don’t get on roller coasters anymore because it ain’t safe no more 🙅🏾♂️

Just to be correct, the ride actually was completed, the cars being evacuated is the next one that was stopped
