Life is so beautiful. I’m wondering about the overarching theme of this gift @doordash
#doordashpartner

the captain asked me what I was doing and I said stretching and he said that is not stretching that is a full handstand against a Boeing and I said darling when you’ve been in six inch heels for nine hours you do whatever your body tells you to do and right now my body is telling me to go upside down on a tarmac in the sunshine and honestly I have never felt more alive... there’s something about being outside the aircraft that changes everything, like the moment you step onto that concrete and the sun hits your face and the engines are quiet and you remember oh right I’m a person with a body that does things other than push a trolley and smile at men who think “sparkling” is a personality trait... I started doing yoga about two years ago after my back gave me an ultimatum and the doctor said you need to stop wearing those heels and I laughed so hard he actually wrote it down in my notes as “non-compliant” which is the most accurate medical term anyone has ever used to describe me... the crew think I’m mad because I’ll just find a patch of tarmac between flights and stretch like a cat who’s been sleeping in a suitcase and James once took a photo of me holding my leg above my head and sent it to the group chat with the caption “this is not normal behaviour” and Sarah replied “let her live James” which is why Sarah is my favourite... the thing is when you spend your whole life being looked at in a cabin you forget what it feels like to move for yourself, not for service not for passengers not for the seatbelt sign just for you and your muscles and the sunshine and the weird satisfaction of being upside down next to a plane worth more than everything I will ever own combined... do you have a thing you do that people think is mad but actually keeps you completely sane because I want to hear about it 😏🖤
