Twenty-one feet of bronze, with a working fireplace built in.
This piece from @wallawallafoundry started as a 3D model, then was printed, embellished by hand by the artist, lost wax cast, and finished in patina. The result stands 255” tall and weighs more than 13,500 lbs.
We’re big appreciators of sculpture, and of the people who can make metal behave like this. It’s craft at the scale where it stops being an object and becomes a place.
