For Angela Winston, Julia Fox’s debut memoir ‘Down the Drain’ was the compelling entry point for her joining a book club while she was incarcerated at Rikers Island. “It was a free, safe space for us to be,” she tells PEOPLE. Her 11-month stint had not been without its challenges, but it was Rosebuds Reading Collective that ultimately made her time in custody more comfortable.

Now, while parenting her 3-year-old daughter and living in a treatment facility, reading — and writing — remains a regular ritual for her. It’s something she credits to Rosebuds Reading Collective, a nonprofit that brings book clubs and creative writing workshops to women incarcerated at Rikers Island.

But before it impacted women at Rikers Island, Rosebuds was founded as a passion project for Nora Fried in February 2025. Tap the link in bio for the full story, and how Fox and Fried plan to expand Rosebuds to six New York locations by the new year.

Welcome @romeroliftsx

At just 20, Romero is balancing a Mathematics degree with his biggest passion: natural bodybuilding.

For him, joining D360 means taking another step towards a dream he has been working hard to achieve. Not only to grow in bodybuilding, but to inspire young people to chase their goals and become the best version of themselves.

Training has taught him the value of discipline, consistency, and hard work. But beyond the physique, he wants to show the person behind it: a young guy with big dreams and the determination to make them happen.

His message is simple. With passion, hard work, and the right mindset, you can go further than you ever imagined.

This is only the beginning.

Rande ,Cindy and Kaia, I wish there were words that could even begin to ease the unimaginable pain of losing someone so deeply loved.

Randy, the beautiful bond you shared with Pres and the extraordinary father you were to him was something so special to witness. Cindy, the love, strength and unwavering support you gave him meant more than words can say. And Kaia, oh, how that boy adored you. I don’t think a day went by without him telling me at least seven times just how much he loved you. You were his world, and he was so incredibly proud to be your big brother.

My heart breaks for each of you, and I hope you always know how deeply loved you are, not just by Pres, but by all of us who were lucky enough to be part of his life.

Pres, I hope you knew just how much you were loved. How many lives you touched, how many smiles you brought into this world, and how much brighter life was simply because you were in it.

I wish love alone could have kept you here. Because if it could have, you would have stayed forever.

I’ll remember your smile, your mischievous spirit, your beautiful heart and all the little things that made you so wonderfully you.

You will forever be my little baby brother who can’t make pop tarts and Dahlia’s chosen Uncle Prezeeee, and a part of our family that no amount of time or distance between heaven and earth could ever change.

I love you, I always will, and we will make magic for you

How I wish you were here. 🤍

The fact this is the first time in three years that Obama is being called antisemitic for saying something about Palestine shows how he has not stood on shit. Fuck him still. he said “israel has a right to self defense” but not the Palestinians.
