Lowkey struggling since a queer white organizer in my community who literally *FOLLOWS* YOU won’t engage in a convo about SA specifically violence towards women of color, probably because I was too direct and scared them away. Tempted to tag them, idk. Studies sociology at a prestigious uni, and is an organizer, and is always posting quotes from like Audre Lorde and stuff like that on their social media, but they are also so friggin racist in their personal interactions it makes me physically cringe. But I honestly don’t have it in me to coddle people. I’m trying, but it is exhausting to be loving and infinitely patient toward your oppressor. I want to have the conversations, but I don’t want to have to fake nice and protect people’s egos when they are being racist. Thank you for your visibility and consistent content, and ima keep trying and learning every day. TRULY thank u Christabel ! If the white person I’m addressing sees this I hope they respond to me LOL

Thank you for helping my white family to heal with your wisdom. Being a subscriber of yours was the most wise choice I made. White folks cannot heal their broken white families with their white poison and we cannot suck that poison out with more white women nonsense! We must be paying reparations back to the black women who have the wisdom that will heal our family curses. I really do believe this is the work that is going to help ripple out into the world around us. Healing our families is where we can start.
