Maple + Black edges reigns chic almost 6 years later 👑

We were asked to design this corner that
was jam packed with stuff originally. The
difficult part was finding a material for the
cabinetry, which the clients found pleasing
but also was able to compliment the other
side of the kitchen’s cabinetry, that would
be staying. The exact cabinetry wasn’t possible
to match since it was a discontinued acrylic.
We ended up going with maple veneer slab
doors. Note the black details; some edge
banding on open cabinetry and the black
toekick!

We also kept the counter on the white
side of the kitchen, and used the new
counter for new side as backsplash piece
under the tile backsplash above.
This created repetition/cohesion and flow
within the kitchen design.
