DEVA x CHANDRA
DC (2026) is a gritty Tamil romantic crime thriller directed by Arun Matheswaran, starring Lokesh Kanagaraj in his lead acting debut alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. The story follows Devadas and Chandra, two individuals caught in a dangerous world where love, violence and survival collide. As their relationship grows, their past and the brutal world around them begin to threaten everything they hold on to.
With Arun Matheswaran's distinctive filmmaking style, DC blends raw violence, romance and crime with a dark, intense atmosphere. Anirudh Ravichander's music and the film's visual treatment add further energy to the narrative, while Lokesh Kanagaraj's transition from filmmaker to leading actor makes the film a particularly interesting addition to Tamil cinema in 2026.
