BOOS ON FIFTH AVENUE: New York paradegoers voice their displeasure with Gov. Kathy Hochul during the city's Columbus Day Parade, booing and flashing thumbs down as the Democratic governor marches through Manhattan. Meanwhile, Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani is drawing criticism for skipping the annual celebration of Italian American heritage altogether. Paradegoers can be seen holding "Fire Mamdani" signs and giving thumbs down, and can be heard booing and yelling, "You're going to jail." The contrasting moments put both Democratic leaders under scrutiny as New Yorkers gathered to celebrate one of the city's longstanding cultural traditions.
My @dancingwiththestars dedication night dance is to James Avery. You know him as Phillip Banks or Uncle Phil or maybe Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Everything I believe about being an artist, was learned at his feet. I loved him very much and I know many of you did too. I shared my thoughts and feelings with my sweet and absolutely brilliant partner @janravnik and he’s choreographed a spectacular Viennese Waltz. James loved Jazz music and Nancy Wilson was one of his favorites. We’ll be dancing to her song, “You don’t know how glad I am”. The lyrics are perfect for the way I feel. I am elated that I’ve made it far enough in this competition to be able to honor him. James Avery was one of my greatest teachers. I hope you feel all the love we’re putting into this dance. I’ve felt your love week after week, and it’s keeping me strong during this process. I know if James was still here, he would have been in that audience cheering me on, encouraging me, telling me all the good things he sees in me. I love ya’ll. Wow! What an experience this is. My heart is so very full.🫶🏾
When I saw @theisabelbrown post about the way some women online are bragging about ab*rting their baby boys (or posting things like, “Time to find out whether it’s a girl or an ab*rtion”), I was gutted but not surprised. I’ve been on the internet long enough to watch the predominantly female narrative surrounding gender swing from rumblings about “male incompetence” or public figures apologetically “acknowledging the complexity” of raising males (as if they’re inherently defective) to such a fever-pitched extreme that women frequently admit to “hating all men” with the exception of their own husbands (if that)—and are supported by thousands of comments. Someone is sure to say that, if this many women think this way, then there must be something to it. The truth is, as heartbreaking as it is to imagine even a single woman m*rdering her own baby son in her womb, this is not how most women see men. Social contagion is real. The loudest, man-hating feminist voices on TikTok are not representative of the majority. And we have a very real opportunity to tell the truth about men. And the truth is: They’re made in God’s image, have inherent value as such, possess incredible character traits, skills, initiative, and compassion. They fight, build, protect, strive, grow, and sacrifice. They’re essential to every culture (and not just bc those m*rdered baby boys wouldn’t have existed without their fathers’ contribution). Are there evil men? Of course. There are evil women too. (The ones who brag about killing their sons prove this.) “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 But there are *so many* good ones who love well and work hard. They have been the overwhelmingly vast majority of my own experience with men in my life. Sadly, flowing right alongside an epidemic of angry, vindictive women who hate men is a rising tide of disenfranchised, undiscipled young men who could very well grow into that which the loudest negative voices claim they are. We must stand in the gap to ensure this doesn’t happen. Moms of boys: It’s time to raise godly men like it’s our jobs. Because it is.
I can feel the shadows lurking, I can feel them closing in… Who will be joining the witches dance this haunted season? 🕯️🔪

Chinese man is going viral after he was caught begging his ex girlfriend to come back after she allegedly left him for a Black man, and it looks embarrassing. Why do some guys still beg in public like this instead of just moving on ? And anyway she went black she will never go back
