Instead of doing a bioposy then waiting then doing surgery we are doing the surgery and then sending everything needed off for biopsy. Honestly, I said it’s our first holiday season in our new home and I have to be healed up by then so I can cook and he said ok let’s do it this month and get it over with so we are. The scar I’m not thrilled about but who would be? It’ll be ok though, just one more battle wound ya know.

Get you some fruit of the earth vitamin E skin care, cream off of Amazon. It’s amazing on the scars. People don’t even realize I have one across my neck. Good luck to you in the journey that you’re about to begin.

I had a total thyroidectomy in 2020 and you can’t even notice my scar now. It has blended in with my neck and I was only 32 years old at the time. I recommend a high IU vitamin E that she can get on the market and use it every day. Wishing you success in your surgery and certainly will be thinking of you. I was in my head about my scars as well.

Well, consider scar vs the puffy neck. You won’t get questions about your neck with the scar (which should be super thin BTW) like you do about the puffiness. 😍🥰

I had my thyroid removed years ago and the scar isn't that bad. Stay out of the sun for a bit and use vitamin E.Good luck🙏

I have a question. When new people would be concerned, and tell you about your thyroid, you would always tell them that you were aware, and everything was fine (and sometimes get a little stand-offish). Were you not actually aware? Or were you just thinking that you had always had the enlarged look, but did not know that it was actually a problem? (I hope this does not sound ugly. I am just wondering how this was missed until it got this bad.)

Same as others.. my scar healed nicely on my neck! It was large but I took care of it.. no sun and massaged with serum I use daily on my face. It is almost invisible. It takes time but it is not noticeable! Prayers for healing and peace! 🙏❤️
