It flew. Live. In front of a crowd.

On Oct 15 in Texas, Tesla’s new Roadster drove itself up a ~21-metre ramp and hung upside down on suction fans. Then it fired cold-gas thrusters, jumped over five parked Teslas, flipped in the air, and landed on its wheels. No driver inside.
On Tesla’s own timer: 0 to 60 in 0.81 seconds.
The top version, Rocket, claims under 0.59 seconds with 10 thrusters. Tesla says it can fly. It is not approved for public roads.

The honest part: no price announced, production promised for 2028 — and in 2017 he promised this same car for 2020.
