10 years married to my best friend!! 🥹🩷 10 years ago, Kay and I cancelled our wedding and decided that instead of spending all the money we had been saving for it, we wanted to use it to go backpacking and see the world together. So we got married at a state park, packed our bags, and set off on our first adventure as husband and wife! 🥹💕 Little did we know that would be the start of the craziest, most beautiful adventure of our lives. 😭 Over the next 10 years, we traveled all over the world, I graduated engineering school, and we eventually settled down in Dallas. But I don’t think either of us could have imagined how much our lives would change when we started sharing our little adventures here in 2021. 🥹 Since then, we’ve welcomed two more beautiful baby girls into our family, traveled to places we used to only dream about, and made more memories than I could ever count. Sometimes when we look back at everything we’ve experienced together, our life genuinely feels like something out of a storybook. 🥹🩷 But what makes it all so special to me is knowing where we started. There was a time when we were skipping meals because we couldn’t afford groceries, relying on food stamps, and struggling to pay our bills. We worked so hard for so many years, and there were plenty of times when life felt like anything but a fairytale. But even through all of those struggles, we always had each other. And somehow, we still found ways to make life an adventure. 🥹💕 Now, 10 years later, we’re living a life that those two kids getting married at a state park could have never imagined. We have three beautiful girls, we’ve built businesses together, and we get to wake up every day doing what we love with the people we love most. 😭🩷 I think my favorite part of looking back at the last 10 years is realizing that no matter how much our lives have changed, we’re still those same two people who would rather spend their money making memories together. 🥹 Happy 10 year anniversary to my beautiful wife!! 🥹🩷 and here’s to another 10 years of making memories and finding new adventures together. I love you Kay!! 🥹💕
