Что на самом деле значат "блаженны", которые мы слушаем на каждой Литургии? Глубину смыслов открывает иеромонах Андрей (Баранов). 1. Нищие духом, т. е. смиренные, наследуют Царство Небесное, значит, обретут молитву, как принцип Боговидения. Можно сказать, что смирение неотделимо от молитвы. Держа внимательную молитву, подвижник подобен канатоходцу: чуть вправо или влево — и ты потерял опору. Он должен быть очень чутким, гибким, мягким. Это позволяет ему не испугаться, не сорваться эмоционально. Равновесие в теле, в душе, а иначе — падение. Ни терпение, ни смирение, ни внимание не достигаются усилием воли, только долгим опытом делания, несмотря ни на что. 2. Блаженны алчущие жаждущие правды, ибо они насытятся (Мф. 5:6). Но мало кто понимает, а где же эта правда, как её обрести, как к ней приблизиться. В эту правду можно зайти только через собственную «смерть», смерть разочарования в самом себе, смерть отчаяния, когда ты уступаешь Богу своё место. Пока ты молишься, подвизаешься, постишься, решаешь духовные вопросы, Бог стоит и очень деликатно, вежливо наблюдает за твоим театром, изредка подходит и предлагает Себя тебе, но ты пока ещё надеешься на себя и отвечаешь: «Я ещё попробую, потому что у меня что-то получается».
