One thing that has become increasingly important for my mum is her connection with her religion and spirituality. At the beginning, I was worried, as my relationship with religion was always a tough and painful one. I cannot say I understand it, but seeing her happy, seeing her have something that brings her peace, no matter what that is - it doesn’t matter wether I understand, her happiness makes it worth it.
