A mudroom this pretty has no business holding muddy shoes. We designed it to anyway.
A soft seafoam finish on inset cabinetry, brass hooks over beadboard, and a warm wood bench with open shelves below, so shoes have a home that isn’t the middle of the floor. A tall cabinet hides everything you’d rather not look at, and the real plot twist is the little built-in desk nook. It has two drawers with brass bar pulls and a curved bracket detail underneath, because even the mail pile deserves nice furniture.
It’s the kind of space that catches the backpacks, the beach hats, and the chaos before it ever reaches the kitchen.
This is the first stop on a home tour: kitchen, primary bath, wet bar, laundry room, and mudroom. We’re starting at the back door and working our way in.
