Recipe below ⬇️

Ingredients:

Marinade: Step 1
◾️1kg Lean Beef
◾️4 Onion Sliced
◾️5 Garlic 5 Cloves ( Grated )
◾️Ginger Finger Size ( Grated )
◾️3 Bayleaf
◾️1 Cinnamon Stick
◾️5 Cardamom Pods
◾️1 Aniseed
◾️Salt to Taste
◾️1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
◾️1 tsp Garam Masala
◾️3 tbsp Oil

Base: Step 2
◾️2 tbsp Chilli Powder
◾️1.5 tsp Cumin Powder
◾️1 tsp Coriander Powder
◾️2 tbsp Mix Curry Powder
◾️5-6 Green Chillies ( Whole )
◾️2 piece of Hatkora ( Sliced) into 4
◾️Water ( Add Accordingly)
◾️Handful of Fresh Coriander ( Chopped)

Method:

◾️Wash the meat and drain off any excess water.
◾️In a pan, add all the ingredients listed in Step 1 and mix well.
◾️Turn the cooker to medium heat and allow the meat to cook with the lid on. The meat and onions should release enough water to help with the cooking process.
◾️Cook for 35 minutes on medium to low heat stirring occasionally.
◾️Once the onions have dissolved and the meat is tender, add all the spices listed in Step 2 and mix well.
◾️Add the hatkora and green chillies. Allow to cook for 5 minutes before adding 1 cup of water.
◾️Once the water has reduced, gradually add more water until you achieve your desired consistency.
◾️Cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
◾️Add the fresh coriander and mix well.
◾️Cook for another 5 minutes before removing from the heat

◾️Serve with a hot plate of rice 🍚

VANCOUVER, THANK YOU!

ANOTHER SOLD-OUT NIGHT!

NEXT STOP CALGARY 🇨🇦

Off season came a little bit earlier than expected (and wanted) for this year. No world champs for me for the second year in a row 🥲

Cleaned up some dodgy cartilage on the left knee this morning, but happy to report it all went very smoothly! Back home now with family and a very brave guard dog. Big thankyou to everyone who has reached out & to the team involved in getting this whole process done so efficiently. Feeling very lucky for my support team right about now!

Now we rehab & look ahead to 2027 👀
