A little recap of our weekend: good food, family, faith, and a whole lot of calories! 😂❤️🍂
1. Fluffy pancakes to the rescue! 🥞🤤
The best way to survive this weather? Homemade, fluffy pancakes, of course! Made enough to last the kids the whole week. 😮💨❤️ Because apparently, motherhood means meal prepping for everyone except yourself. 😂 It’s always the kids first!
Some new fall decor courtesy of a lovely little human that I’m still trying to figure out what to gift her🥰❤️
2. Kenyan masala tea is NON-NEGOTIABLE! ☕🇰🇪
And of course, we had to have our Kenyan masala tea, brewed to absolute perfection. 👌🏾🥰
Some things just make a house feel like home!
3. Hair day with my little princess! 👑💕
Wueh! 😮💨😂 Doing this girl’s hair requires prayer, patience, commitment, determination… and possibly a small miracle! 🤣 So we don’t start until we’re mentally prepared for the mission.
AND GUESS WHAT?!
My very first attempt at cornrows was a TOTAL SUCCESS! 🥹🙌🏾❤️ Now, the real test is whether I can reproduce this masterpiece next time or if this was a one-time anointing! 😂😂🥰
4. Our second Thanksgiving in Canada! 🍁🇨🇦❤️
EBENEZER! 🙌🏾❤️ Thus far, the Lord has helped us! We have truly been helped by God❤️
Looking back at how far we’ve come, all we can say is that God has been our all in all. Through every season, He has remained faithful, dependable, and good. We are truly grateful for His sustaining grace over our family. 🥹🙏🏾

5. Ending the weekend on a sweet note! 🎂🎉
We rounded off the weekend by celebrating the birthday of such a sweet boy! 🥳❤️ And of course, there was CHAPATI and PILAU! 😍🇰🇪 Because how else are we supposed to celebrate properly?!
Now, let’s talk about the calories I have accumulated this weekend. 🥲😂 Pancakes, masala tea, chapati, pilau… the evidence is overwhelming! 🤣
Workout starts tomorrow. FOR REAL THIS TIME. 🏋🏾♀️😂 (Please don’t ask me again on Wednesday!)
All in all, it was a weekend filled with beautiful little moments, family, laughter, good food, and so much to be thankful for. ❤️🥰
