Egg freezing is a complex issue becoming increasingly visible in elite sport. For female athletes, whose careers can peak during their most fertile years, the appeal can be particularly powerful. Geva Mentor, England netball's most decorated player, discusses her experience of freezing her eggs.
I am SO excited to be able to share this massive step forward today. The House of Commons has accepted my parliamentary petition for a public inquiry into the pathologisation of abuse victims following the public apology from The Royal College of Psychiatry. Launch an inquiry into the psychiatric care and diagnoses of child abuse victims Created by Dr Jessica Taylor Closes on 14 April 2027 In light of the official apology from the Royal College of Psychiatry, we request that the Government launch an inquiry to explore the treatment of victims of child abuse, sexual abuse and domestic abuse who may have been incorrectly pathologised, framed as mentally ill, and wrongly diagnosed. In August 2026, The Royal College of Psychiatrists published an official apology to victims of abuse, admitting that UK psychiatrists had diagnosed victims, medicated them, and admitting that there is no significant evidence base for “false memory syndrome”. Thousands of UK victims of abuse have had their credibility and disclosures harmed by these false diagnoses, including in criminal court, family court, mental health services, and NHS records. We now need an inquiry to establish the scale of this issue and impact. Sign, share, tell everyone. Send it everywhere. We need as many signatures as possible to force a parliamentary debate about the appalling use ‘false memory syndrome’ and other false psychiatric labels to silence victims of abuse. We will have justice. Contact me for any links or details you need. Sign the petition in my bio or in comments below posts.

Follow for ALL the best football memes. ✔️ ______________________________________________________ Paris Saint-Germain produced a stunning performance at the Etihad Stadium, beating Manchester City 4-2 in a chaotic Champions League encounter. The visitors completely dominated the opening half, with Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha all finding the net inside 32 minutes to leave City trailing 3-0 at the break. Erling Haaland inspired a second-half fightback with two goals, becoming City’s all-time leading Champions League goalscorer in the process, but PSG’s attacking quality proved too much as Maghnes Akliouche added a fourth. The defeat comes amid huge controversy surrounding Manchester City’s recent Premier League financial rule breaches, with former manager Pep Guardiola watching from the stands. A disastrous night for City and another statement victory for the reigning European champions.
Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche believed some of his best ideas came while walking, often spending hours exploring the Swiss Alps. He encouraged people to spend more time outdoors, believing movement helped produce better ideas. Over a century later, Stanford researchers found that walking increased creative thinking by an average of 60% compared to sitting. Another study found that walking in nature also reduces repetitive negative thoughts and overthinking. Nietzsche recognized the connection between movement and the mind long before modern science began studying it. “Never Trust a Thought That Occurs to You Indoors”
