I began a small garden on the sunporch in early July. In late August; I moved everything to the deck and the sun almost took everything out. Burned the leaves and everything. I ordered a cot tent and put them inside of it on the deck to give some shielding from the sun. A lot of the plants replenished, but the cucumbers and carrots seem to be all gone except for one small sprouting, and the beet plants are nominal. The rest are doing pretty well, although I should have removed some and replanted in separate containers so there is overcrowding. I'm too afraid to try now. I'll be setting up a second tent for fall planting soon, as well as doing some indoor planting in the sun room. I'll just keep trying until I reap a decent harvest. #amateurgardener
