You know what? If you were to ask me, “Are you a good cook?” I would have said, “no.” I didn’t grow up learning how to cook. Supper was just meeting the need of hunger. However, recently my daughter told me, “I don’t know why you say you can’t cook. You’re a good cook.” The comment made me smile and was encouraging…after 23 years of showing up and learning and trying again and again, I have made progress in my cooking abilities ☺️ … and apparently my family has noticed 🙌🏻🙌🏻
So cook the meal. Save reels that hi light meals you want to try. Ask a friend to show you how to make their family’s favorite. Every little effort makes progress. Hopefully this will be a little encouragement to the fellow mom who struggles to know how to cook!
