Coober Pedy.

We were given the opportunity to go to an old mine, where tourists can experience being underground. (a free entry )

We dug by what's called "noodling".

It was around 22 degrees in the tunnels, bending over at times, we noodled for abit found some imitation stones, they do glisten ir the light.

So much fun but sure made us realise back in the day how much hard work it would've been, dark, dusty, and I'm guessing at times frustrating not finding opal.
