Jean Schlumberger’s fantastical world meets the mesmerizing seascape of Qatar. Tiffany & Co.’s immersive installation at the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2026 draws inspiration from desert dunes, the Arabian Gulf and Schlumberger’s fascination with the natural world. Schlumberger is an interesting designer to place against a real coastline, since his sea creatures were always invented rather than observed. Putting them beside the actual Gulf asks the work to compete with its own source.
