After spending a couple of weeks in Maharajji’s presence, Jai Uttal arrived at the temple as usual, only to be stopped at the gate. The gatekeeper explained that Maharajji had left the previous night and that no one could enter the courtyard. Jai asked where Maharajji had gone and when he would return, but the gatekeeper didn’t know. In that moment, Jai realized something profound: “My beloved had left me.” He hadn’t even realized that Maharajji had become his beloved until they were suddenly separated. His heart broke open. Sitting before Hanumanji’s murti, he began to sing, allowing the sadness, longing, and overwhelming love to pour through him. Jai Uttal describes Maharajji as a manifestation of infinite divinity, appearing in human form. He doesn’t regard Maharajji as merely a symbol or memory. He describes Maharajji’s presence as real and continuing beyond his physical body. As Jai beautifully shares, “But the presence itself is constant.” For Jai, Maharajji was “this doorway into infinity.” A doorway into a love that could not be confined by walls or gates, by the physical body, or even by separation. ❤️ Ram Ram @jaiuttal Adapted from Jai Uttal’s recollections in his Sounds True interview, “Chanting as a Heart-path to God.” Jai Gurudev 🙏🙏🙏
I have decided to be strong and not burn my house down after this incident 🤣 It all went down at 4am.. when my husband heard what he thought was something OUTSIDE our window. Nope, it was INSIDE! So operation get squirrel out commenced. After seeing the squirrel prancing on the curtain rod and then running into Brent's closet, Brent built a little ramp using the screens to try and get him out. It eventually worked. I went back to bed in Ava's room! Ha Hoping this is just one guy who got in and that there's not a whole family looking to come out and play tonight 🙏

Dog Friendly Pumpkin Bread 🎃🍞 1 1/2 cups oat flour 3/4 cup canned pure pumpkin 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 tsps cinnamon 4 large eggs 1/4 cup maple syrup 2 tbsps honey 1/4 cup melted coconut oil 1/2 cup carob chips 👩🏻‍🍳 Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make sure you place the rack in the center of the oven so the bread will cook evenly. Prep a 8x4 inch loaf pan by lightly coated it with a nonstick spray or line it with parchment paper (using parchment paper will help with the cooling process, so I highly recommend this method). 2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together pure pumpkin, eggs, maple syrup, honey and coconut oil. 4. Make a well with the dry ingredients then pour the wet ingredients into the center of the well. Mix together until evenly combined, then fold in the carob chips. 5. Pour mixture into your prepared loaf pan and bake in the over for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. 6. When you’re ready to take it out of the oven, place the pan on a wire rack and let it cool for about 30 minutes. If your dogs counter surf - keep a close eye on them 😉 After 30 minutes passes, if you’re using parchment paper you can gently lift the bread out of the pan and allow it to continue cooling on the wire rack. Either way, please make sure you allow the bread to completely cool before serving - no matter how tempting it might be to take a bite 🧡🐾 #dogfriendly #easyrecipe #pumpkinbread #dogmomlife
