Being a Detroit woman means a lot to me. I wanted to capture the essence of what it feels like to be from here in its simplicity. Leaving my mark here and inserting myself in this city’s rich legacy and culture is heavy on my to-do list. I feel like this 31st year is a going to be a significant year for me to do just that!!
I hope when people see these, they see my love for this place! Maybe they’ll end up in a museum or gallery one day! Proverbs 10:22!
