When Efrain asked me to join forces with him and assist with content batching , event campaign and social media ; their account was sitting at 30+ followers with little to NO social proof. I accepted the challenge because I know what I bring to table . Cheers to the power of teamwork ⬇️
The way @efrainlozadajr showed up, many would have thought a paycheck was attached.
The way I showed up cost me a lot as well. Risk , investment and sacrifice. The formula many of us not willing to make.
His role as President of the Edgewater High School Foundation is entirely volunteer. As an alumni and proud former Eagle, Efrain took on this leadership role with passion, grit, determination, and a work ethic rooted in his love for his school and community.
As he often say, “We’re chasing purpose, not a paycheck.”
30+ years of impact. It was time for @edgewaterhsfoundation presence to catch up.
A Foundation with decades of community history & legacy , but a limited social media presence and an outdated website was costing them more than they knew . The impact was there. We just needed the systems and storytelling to help more people see it.
In a matter of 60 days, we put in place:
✓ Website updates
✓ CRM setup
✓ Automations
✓ scheduled Content batching
✓ Intentional storytelling & social media support
A renewed digital presence helped share the Foundation’s story, connect the community, and support the campaign for Legacy Night.
The results:
• 130,823 content views
• 3,483 interactions
• 142 net new followers
During the 60-day reporting period shown.
Legacy Night results reported by the Foundation:
• $27,000 raised BEFORE event date
• 200+ attendees
• The most Hall of Fame nominations in 30 years
Many doubted it could be done. But faith, action, and execution gave us these results with the support of a community that believed in the vision.
The heart behind the work matters. So do the strategy, time, and expertise it takes to bring the vision to life.
