During my Ayahuasca journey, I was flooded with an overwhelming sense of reverence and gratitude for all mothers… especially my mom. I cried harder than I have ever cried before… feeling so much compassion for her and for everything a mother holds.
It became crystal clear to me that I don’t need to understand my mom or even speak her language all the time… I simply need to be by her side, loving and accepting her for exactly who she is in every season of her life.
As part of my integration, I asked her to come up and visit me this weekend. No plans. Just the two of us hanging out. And we had the BEST time. We’ve always been close, but this mother-daughter weekend felt different—like a breakthrough in our friendship.
I love you and am so grateful for you, mom.

sweet daughter, this was a threshold moment of sisterhood and SOULhood. I am deeply grateful for having a relationship with you that can both transcend roles and allow eagle vision while also leaning into the privilege of the roles with grace and understanding.
