Formula 1 is officially returning to Africa for the first time since 1993. Rwanda has signed a 10-year deal to host the African Grand Prix at a purpose-built circuit in Bugesera, 40km south of Kigali. The track, designed to FIA Grade 1 standards, will use natural elevation changes. First race expected in the early 2030s.
