Gaza's famine survivors, visibly drained of energy by the severe food shortage, somehow muster the strength for a little fun💔

I’m done with the “what’s in my bag” videos that look pretty and do nothing 🙃

These are the things I learned the hard way, and I wish someone had told me before my first few trips.

1. Panty liners: Damp underwear, discharge, and sweating all day. Staying damp for too long is how I’d end up with an infection after getting back. Never again.

2. Body sunscreen: We obsess over our face and forget everything else. My body tan took forever to go away until I started wearing this.

3. A lip tint: Half the time there’s no mirror, so I’d look weird as hell all day and only realise in the evening. One tint in the bag is enough.

4. Sanitizer: Train doors, washroom handles, buses, leaves on a hike. I’ve skipped eating before because my hands weren’t clean, and food is the best part of travelling. Now I squeeze it on and eat whatever I want.

Save this for your next trip and tell me your non-negotiable 👇

🥬 natural ozempic with a side of glass skin salad 🤍

the salad you make when you want your skin, waist and nervous system to cooperate 🤍

a full bowl of cabbage fills you up for almost nothing, the avocado and greek yogurt feed your skin barrier and keep your gut happy, and a whole cup of spinach and herbs is blended straight into the dressing. the chopping alone calms me down 🤍

- 10-12 cups cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 cucumber, finely diced
- 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1 jalapeño, optional

dressing:
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup greek yogurt plus 4 tbsp
- 1 cup baby spinach, loosely packed
- 1 cup parsley, thick stems removed
- 1/2 cup dill
- 1 garlic clove
- juice of 1 lime, plus more to taste
- salt and black pepper to taste

finely chop everything. blend all the dressing ingredients until smooth, adding water 1 tbsp at a time only if it needs it. toss with the vegetables and taste for salt, pepper and lime 🤍

eat your skincare 🤍
