Fortaleciendo la promoción de inversiones en el Caribe.
En el marco del Caribbean Investment Forum #CIF2026, celebrado en #Barbados, nuestro Director Ejecutivo y vicepresidente de WAIPA, Vladimir Pimentel, desarrolló una agenda orientada a fortalecer la colaboración regional y generar nuevas oportunidades para la promoción de inversiones.
Como parte de su agenda, participó en un diálogo regional junto a 11 agencias de promoción de inversiones del Caribe, así como representantes de WAIPA, CAIPA, UNCTAD, ONUDI, BID y la Unión Europea, donde se compartieron programas en marcha y se exploraron oportunidades de colaboración, fortalecimiento de capacidades y promoción conjunta de inversiones.
Este espacio reafirmó, desde la experiencia de #ProDominicana, el valor de trabajar como región para fortalecer la promoción de inversiones y atraer mayores flujos de capital hacia el Caribe.

Strengthening investment promotion across the Caribbean.
At the Caribbean Investment Forum CIF2026 in Barbados, our Executive Director and WAIPA Vice President, Vladimir Pimentel, joined 11 Caribbean Investment Promotion Agencies and representatives from WAIPA, CAIPA, UNCTAD, UNIDO, IDB and the European Union to explore opportunities for regional collaboration, capacity building and joint investment promotion.
The dialogue highlighted the value of working together to attract greater investment flows to the Caribbean.
