دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، گفته است که ما امکان این را داریم که همه سخنان مقامات و رهبران جمهوری اسلامی ایران را بشنویم.

آقای ترامپ که در یک گردهمایی انتخاباتی پیش از انتخابات میان‌دوره‌ای آمریکا سخن می‌گفت با بیان این جملات افزود «البته این مسئله طبقه‌بندی شده و سری است و من حالا آن را از حالت طبقه‌بندی خارج کردم.»

رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا در بخش دیگری از سخنانش هم جنگ با ایران را «یک تمرین نظامی» خواند.

او همچنین گفت اگر نام تنگه هرمز را به «تنگه ترامپ تغییر دهیم، کشورهای عربی چه احساسی خواهند داشت؟ ما به‌راحتی می‌توانیم این کار را انجام دهیم.»
