You should go back to the 90’s when there was a movie that featured Texas State Football as a fictional school more than a decade before Southwest Texas State University dropped the “Southwest”. Check out Necessary Roughness.

Texas state should worry about giving the quality classes and quality pay to their professors so that they can provide standard education to their students but instead they’re shoving massive amount of students into very small programs that professors cannot handle

I went to Pflugerville high school and to Texas state. Both are shown in Friday night lights. And I also made an appearance with my pee wee football team in a flashback in one of the episodes.

They barely had anything about college football. It was a show about high school football. They mentioned San Antonio at the same time (Riggins going to school) but that doesn't mean that UTSA took off because of the mention.
