Every era ends a little before you’re ready. This one closes in two weeks.
This era did many things. It introduced me to someone real and healing, the kind of person I’d stopped expecting. It also taught me how to stand inside other people’s storms without letting them steer me, how to lead a band and protect the work while everything around us was trying so hard to be louder. I leave this era much harder to move and much easier to be around. I didn’t see that combination coming.
Every era has left me something if I look back honestly. This one gave me more than it took.
The next one is already moving.
