Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter opened its doors, kennels and arms to the community during its annual open house on Saturday.
“I think it’s a really good way for them to show off what they bring to the community,” said Julia Eustace, a HOV open house attendee. “It was good to see the shelter, how they run it, and the space they give the animals.”
The three-hour open house included a pet costume contest, a photo booth, face painting, pet introductions and tours of the facility, which allowed attendees a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work the shelter does. #heartofthevalleyanimalshelter #petadoption #animalshelter
