TRIP RECAP - Radiant Fall Break Ruby Float

The fall break Ruby trip was nothing short of an adventure! We had an obstacle of mud on our first night, and a multitude of rain and wind on the second. In all spirits were high and we had a blast!

Kaylub Giamanco is being hailed as a hero after confronting and killing a teenage gunman during a shooting at his children’s school in Bend, Oregon, on Thursday. In an exclusive interview with CBS News Sacramento, Giamanco’s mother, Kendra Freman, says her son was on his lunch break when he encountered the shooter and followed him into the school after he realized something wasn’t right. Three children and a teacher were killed before Giamanco stopped the gunman, and while both of his children are safe, his mother says he is struggling with the lives he could not save.
