An installation inspired by a singular ingredient.
The dining room at La Bergerie, Capelongue, needed almost no renovation. However, it did need 300 artichokes.
To accomplish this seemingly impossible feat, we cleared out the beautiful artichokes (and artichoke flowers!) within a 10-mile radius of the venue. Sourcing from local florists to local grocery stores.
The final result was a scene of purple and green artichokes against a backdrop of hand stitched linens and unusually large candles.
After dinner, the artichokes were shared amongst the chefs. (A few even made their way into a bridesmaidโs bouquet for the ceremony~!)
More to come tomorrow.
