Dr. Stokes is an Expert Cancer Navigator who goes beyond her professional role to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
She spent twenty-one years employed as a full-time Associate Professor of Nursing. She is a nationally Certified Nurse Educator and holds a Research Doctorate (PhD) degree in Educational Studies. Currently Dr. Stokes sits on the board of the ACS’s National Navigator Round Table (NNRT). She also serves as Co-Chair for the Michigan Cancer Consortium and is a Board Member for Operation Breast Density, as well as Hospice of Michigan’s Evaluation Committee.
Dr. Stokes is passionate about navigation, vulnerable populations and improving health outcomes through education.
