I’ve had the pleasure of working on research focused on the importance of rest and the deep connections between trauma and stress. In honor of Black Girl Day Off, I want to share a snippet of the work. I encourage you to reflect on the spaces you’re creating for your own healing. Although being able to exist in peace, tranquility and self-care for black girls or black women should not be seen as radical. Rest overall is necessary for our well-being. To watch the full presentation, check the “Learn More” highlight on my profile. 💚💙 #everyonedeservesrestoration #restisneeded by @the.jazzyk
