Sometimes the location doesn’t cooperate.

The room is too small.
The ceiling is too low.
There’s something ugly exactly where you wish there wasn’t.

That doesn’t mean the idea is dead.

Maybe you lose the wide shot.

Move the camera.

Change the angle.

Get a little tighter.

Production is full of constraints. The trick is figuring out which ones matter to the story.
