Opinion: No matter how much America’s allies urge the president to back Ukraine, he cannot forgive its leader for showing up his dealmaking impotence, writes Edward Luce. Tap the link in our bio to read the full article. Image description: President Donald Trump speaks to reporters outside at night, with microphones and phones held towards him. PLAY WISELY 🤝 visible abs were not the goal, but the result. full body, high intensity + functional movement with intentional nutrition to properly fuel and recover is not only how I achieved body recomp, but also improve my overall physical abilities, confidence, life balance, and control over my mindset + inner peace **This is what has worked for me: everyone’s journey will be there own, but this is what I’ve worked to achieve over the last several years to hugely improve my body and lifestyle🫧 Heavy lifts for power (30%): this is the gritty work that’s somewhat behind the scenes but the bulk of what I do. I specifically lift for power, slow eccentrics + pull fast, be reactive under heavy loads, isometrics with heavy load, unilateral variations are often my main lifts while bilateral lifts are left at the end. Speed + explosiveness (25%): move well, feel good, get twitchy, this is how you learn to respond to life and avoid injury by building coordination, agility/changing directions rapidly, explode out of a dead stop, etc. This is where the fruit of our heavy lifts can be applied Interval cardio (10%): as I’ve gotten older, I tend to choose lower impact variations like a stationary bike for my cardio sessions, often coupled with mobility and upper body. Never longer than 20 min, 2-3x week, switching between lower intensity intervals and difficult or sprint periods, nonstop 10-12 rounds. Natural foods + hydration (30%): I’ve struggled with binge/emotional eating in the past - intuitive portion control, natural foods over processed options, with focus on fiber and protein, never needs to be fancy. Hydration is huge, ensuring your thirst is not being labeled as hunger and overall improved physical performance + energy Core isolation drills (5%): great as accessory work to further dial in core strength, control, size/definition, however, is not the functional work that has built my core (I maybe do core isolation 1x week) 🔗 in my b!0 for my explosive training programs Always in @oneractive c0de LINNEA💕 #explosivetraining #absaremadeinthekitchen #functionaltraining
I’d say things are going really great for White House press secretary Katie Zacharia. First day on the job was a smashing success. It’s giving the Iraq and the South Africa. #press #funny #same #fdt #feminism
