Winta has been passionate about dance since childhood. Her journey began with many years of competitive cheerleading, where she gained experience in dancing formations and even contributed to creating choreographies.

A few years ago, she discovered her love for Dancehall and has been continuously deepening her passion and connection to the culture ever since.

Inspired by the groove and foundations of Old School and the powerful energy of Middle School, her heart especially beats for New School Dancehall. Whether it’s flowy and smooth movements, hardcore energy or the expression and empowerment of Female Dancehall – Winta loves exploring the different styles and finding herself in each of them. Every new experience continues to fuel her passion even more ❤️‍🔥

That’s exactly why she never misses an opportunity to dance, learn and exchange with the Dancehall community. Whether it’s workshops, events, private classes or a yard party in Jamaica – what matters most to her is learning and experiencing Dancehall straight from the source, connecting with the people and the culture behind the movements.

Winta is truly grateful for every moment she gets to experience as a guest in Dancehall culture and as part of its community. Approaching the culture with respect, appreciation and an open mind is especially important to her.

Being part of The Narrative allows Winta to share her love for Dancehall with others while discovering a new passion for Afro styles, connecting with another community and continuing to grow through dance.
