What a year. What a LIFE. 🎈

Probably the biggest year of mine so far.

Pregnancy. Becoming a mom to Zy. Signing a commercial lease. Building our very own All Day Fit. 🥲

I didn’t know I wanted kids. I definitely didn’t know I wanted a commercial lease lol. But what I did know was that I wanted to live a big, full life. And HOLY SHIT, are we ever.

Birthdays are funny. Some years they’re happy, some years they’re heavy. Sometimes they’re both.

This year, I’m feeling a whole lot of gratitude.

For the people I’ve met. The risks I’ve taken. Everything I’ve been able to experience. The things I’ve built. The love I’ve experienced. The people I get to share it with 🫶🏻) All the versions of myself I’ve become along the way. And maybe most of all, for the things I never saw coming. Because as much as I’ve always believed in building a life I love, some of the most beautiful parts of it are things I never could have planned.

I’m grateful for the privilege of growing older.
For another year of this big, beautiful life. 🌎

For the little girl in the last photo, and all the versions of me in between. I’m proud of us.

AND EXCITEDDDD because we’re just opening up MANY doors. There’s lots of great things to come this year mama💗

Grimes just sat down for one of the most unpredictable pop culture interviews of the year.

In a new episode of Proto Pop, The Swiftologist speaks with Grimes about her return to music and her upcoming album Psy Opera, alongside conversations about artificial intelligence, motherhood, internet culture, beauty standards, and the pressure of being a controversial public figure. The interview also revisits her musical legacy, from Visions to Art Angels and Miss Anthropocene, while exploring what she wants this next chapter of her career to represent.

The conversation goes far beyond the usual album-promo questions, touching on everything from whether beauty is replacing religion to K-pop, political propaganda, and why Grimes refuses to compromise on being herself. Whatever people think of her, she has always existed at the intersection of pop music, technology, and internet culture, making her a fascinating subject for a discussion about where music and celebrity are heading next.

Actress and content creator Sahiba Bali has faced online abuse and threats after reposting a message highlighting the contradiction between worshipping Goddess Durga and suppressing women who raise their voices against injustice. The post drew a parallel between the celebration of feminine power and the police action against women participating in recent protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Sharing screenshots of abusive messages, Sahiba expressed exhaustion over the hatred she has faced, stating that speaking out against injustice can put one's livelihood and safety at risk. She also addressed the criticism surrounding her political and religious views, saying that she faces abuse whether she speaks up or chooses to remain silent.
