A little hard work has made a big difference for Freya and Gracie 💜

#TeamCEF joined WellChild in Huntingdon to help create a safe, accessible garden for the sisters to enjoy together.

Both need round-the-clock care. Having somewhere to relax, play and explore new sights, sounds and textures can make a real difference to their everyday lives.

It was a privilege to lend a hand and support WellChild’s work with children with complex medical needs and their families. One act of kindness at a time.

The first look at 16-year-old Griffin J. John II has surfaced following a d*adly Oregon elementary school sh**ting. The New York Post shared the image on Friday. The September 10 Facebook photo shows John wearing a hoodie beside his mother, Shauntai May Nickerson, near a waterfall. Police publicly identified him following Thursday’s m@ssacre at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend. Investigators say John, a former student, arrived October 15 carrying a Maverick 88 12-gauge sh*tg*n reportedly purchased by his mother. He tossed the g*n over a fence, climbed after it, fired at a pickup and sh*t through secured school doors before entering a special education classroom. Three boys, ages 5, 8 and 11, and 25-year-old teacher Meghan Lambert were k*lled. A 7-year-old girl and 54-year-old teacher Becky Drury were wounded. Another teacher confronted John before armed parent Kaylub Giamanco fatally sh*t him. John previously attended a program supporting students with behavioral challenges. In a 2020 interview, Nickerson said, “I think it will be great for Griffin, because I am not certified teaching a special needs student,” adding, “And I think it will be great for my son to get the help that he needs from the skilled teachers that he needs to get it from.” Following the sh**ting, Nickerson described him as “a good boy, he really was.” “I’m so sorry, I wish I could have done something. I’m sorry for their loss,” she said. “I miss him,” she added. “If I could have prevented this, I would have.” Prayers to the victims of this senseless tragedy🙏🏾
