“Rais Samia ametimiza Ndoto ya Baba wa Taifa, Tumshukuru na kumpongeza sana” - KITILA

A couple has sparked debate online after the woman revealed that her father refunded the dowry money paid by her husband during their traditional marriage negotiations.
The revelation left netizens divided, with some arguing that the father had humiliated his son-in-law, while others questioned why he would return the dowry. Some also joked that the woman appeared more attached to her father than her husband, while others warned that the unusual arrangement could create cultural and family conflicts, especially concerning their children.
The discussion has since reignited conversations about dowry, marriage and family traditions.
