Ilhan Omar is cashing in on the federal raid that took place at her D.C. home on Monday, sending out a fundraising email asking supporters to send her donations.
In the fundraising email, the Minnesota Democrat's political operation accuses the Trump administration of targeting Omar, describing the raid as a 'dangerous and authoritarian attack on a political opponent.'
"Chip in $10 or any amount you can afford today to support Ilhan Omar."
The appeal comes as Omar faces scrutiny following the federal search, which the Justice Department says was part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
