So I’m a bit late on this one.
in September I travelled to Chicago for @themidwestocr and it was totally worth the 4000+ miles.
From the first contact to leaving the race these guys are amazing..
It’s a hard race, it’s designed that way. I love that it’s mandatory completion. Sadly I didn’t do that, but I raced well until I hurt my shoulder. That’s not meant as an excuse or that I would have kept my band but you need to be at your best for this one.
I don’t think I will be able to get back to race in 2027 but If not I will be back in 2028.
The RDs Dana and Aaron know how to put on an amazing race. Keep doing what you’re doing .
My new favourite race and anyone that lives here in the uk and wants an American race that is going to test you this is the race that should be on your race calender 100%

Awesome job out there! It was so great to meet you in person and absolutely honored that you traveled so far to race with us. Can't wait to have you back. And hope the shoulder heals quickly.❤️
