🚨 COMMENT “instruments” below and I’ll give the list of all the instruments, their budget and company to buy 🚨 Not all investments give returns in money. Some make you a better ophthalmologist! 👁️✨ Ophthalmology comes with its own set of instruments, and knowing what to invest in can make your residency journey a little easier. From basic examination instruments to surgical instruments, these are some things worth considering as you progress through residency. Remember: 🔹 You don’t need to buy everything at once. 🔹 Prioritise instruments you’ll use regularly. 🔹 Invest in quality rather than quantity. 🔹 Choose according to your department’s requirements and your learning needs. Strength through aesthetics never works 😭 The video shows a craftsman creating a decorative battle axe using traditional woodworking techniques, metal inlay work, and charring. While the finished product looks striking when cutting through a pumpkin, several comments flagged a critical flaw: fitting metal pins through dry, charred wood actually weakens the handle. Charring wood reduces bending strength by roughly 30% according to wood science research, and shallow treatment makes handles more prone to brittle fracture on impact. The visual appeal comes at a real structural cost. #woodworking #tools #axe
