One of my rules of investing is that I never let any stock become more than 5% of my portfolio and I never let any sector become more than 20%. When a stock becomes more than 5% I sell it down just like I did with Tesla. My cost basis is zero. It doesn’t matter what happens with Tesla, I made a ton of money on it by following this rule.

This book had me immediately captivated with its spooky vibes. I definitely loved the murder investigation revolving around a creepy inn, an abandoned spooky hospital & a strange town that gave the story such an unsettling and eerie atmosphere. The writing style was quite easy and engaging making the narrative easy and quick to follow. The fun & witty banter between Corbin and Wren was my favourite part of this book . I really enjoyed their dynamic which kept things quite entertaining and lively.

That said, I felt that the supernatural aspect of the book was quite underdeveloped. I also found the ending quite disappointing and confusing as it left me with more questions. I expected a bit more clarity.

👉 Overall , it was a quick and easy entertaining read . I will definitely be looking forward to the next book in the series.

First of all, this is such a promising debut. I loved how easy and engaging the writing in this book was, along with how character-driven the story felt. I absolutely loved the friendship dynamics between Grace & Jo . They added so much value and personality to the storyline. There were lots of humorous and lighter moments that made this such an entertaining read. I really enjoyed the amateur-sleuth aspect of the story with two women getting involved in solving a murder mystery.

That said, the mystery itself lacked depth for me . I wanted more suspense and twists. The pacing also felt quite uneven at times with some sections moving quite slower than expected. While I enjoyed Grace's internal monologues, their repetitive nature was quite distracting. I also predicted the killer quite early on.

👉 Overall, this was a fun, entertaining cosy murder mystery with character driven storylin
