rockstar’s ‘bully’ was released 20 years ago today bully is an open world action adventure video game published by rockstar games. it was first released in 2006 for the playstation 2, and later remastered/expanded as bully: scholarship edition for xbox 360, wii, and pc in 2008. you play as jimmy hopkins, a rebellious teenager sent to the boarding school bullworth academy. instead of a gritty crime setting like rockstar’s grand theft auto, bully focuses on school life: cliques (jocks, nerds, greasers, preppies), classes, pranks, and navigating both bullies and authority figures.
