Every day, we lose our loved ones πŸ’”πŸ˜” and the very best of this city πŸ˜”πŸ’”. Ultimately, there is no serious effort to secure a ceasefire; even sympathy for us has vanished πŸ˜”πŸ’”. The least you could do is donate, yet you fail to do even that πŸ’”πŸ˜”. We have been left all alone.πŸ˜”πŸ’”πŸ˜πŸ™β¬‡οΈ https://chuffed.org/project/178882-support-salem-ibrahim-and-his-family-in-gaza

I’ve been overexplaining myself my entire life, and being perceived is already hard enough without a roundtable.. πŸ‘€

One of my FAVORITE pods I’ve ever done - chopping up MUSIC & LIFE with my boy Elmo on @gowithelmo πŸ₯ƒ I was hanging out in country dive bars on Lower Broad in Nashville, trying to get singing gigs… and I was 15 YRS OLD πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ I was already 6’4 220lbs with a Magnum PI pornstache…imagine me going into these bars with no guitar, no band, BUT even at 15, I could drink, and sing some Randy, Merle & Hank Jr with the best of β€˜em 😎😈πŸ₯ƒ Fast forward to today, where I have the honor of Executive Producing a first of its kind, inspired by album that we imagined for the sole purpose of creating opportunities for our Polynesian artists to share their beautiful voices and powerful mana with the world. Check out our album VOICES ACROSS THE OCEAN everywhere music is played! 🎢 And check out my podcast GO WITH ELMO - a great dude with a profound love and insane talent for MUSIC πŸŽ™οΈ 🎢 Shout to my fellow Executive Producers and lady bosses πŸ’ͺ🏾 @laurenhashianofficial @tiana_nonosina @kay.faam πŸ₯ƒ

Some gems and lessons I wish I’d learned sooner. But what can you do? Some things only come with time, experience, and living through them ❀️ One rejection doesn’t decide your future. Keep growing, keep showing up, and leave room for a different opportunity. At some point, the question has to change from β€œWhat else can I cut out?” to β€œHow can I nourish myself in a way I can sustain?” You can want more for yourself without needing to do better than someone else. Someone else’s success doesn’t take away from yours. You don’t need perfect English to have something worth saying. Doing things that scare you can help you build it. Every time you try, you give yourself another reason to trust that you can handle what comes next. You can be proud of everything you worked for and still want something different today. Changing direction doesn’t erase what you achieved.
